The ball closure key chain is made of a durable jeweler's metal. The stylish design includes a genuine half dollar set in a sturdy silvertone bezel. The JFK Half Dollar was first minted in 1964 to honor President John F. Kennedy. It was designed by Gilroy Roberts and Frank Gasparro. The obverse features a bust of Kennedy while the reverse displays the Presidential Seal. The first year of issue coin is composed of 90% silver. The coin was reduced to 40% silver in 1965. Coins are historical, collectible and designed to show pride in your heritage. Mint marks will vary. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
