Technical Specs

The legendary Mercury Dime (1916-1945) was one of the new coinage designs mandated by President Theodore Roosevelt at the beginning of the twentieth century. Struck of .999 Fine Silver and originally called Winged Liberty, the new coin got its popular name from Liberty's resemblance to Mercury seen on many ancient coins. One hand-selected Mercury Dime from each of the last 20 years of issue (1926-1945) is displayed in a handsome portfolio, 18 coins in all (none minted in 1932 or 1933), and accompanied by a printed history. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
