Description

The 1909 First-Year-of-Issue Lincoln Wheat-Ear Penny is now well over 100 years old. The Lincoln Wheat-Ear Penny is the first U.S. minted coin to honor an American President. The Lincoln Cent obverse was designed by Victor D. Brenner. The first cent, to have the motto In God We Trust, is the focus of the black wood pocket knife.
