Description

One of the most celebrated coins of all time, the Walking Liberty Half Dollar was a dramatic change from the staid designs of the past. A. A. Weinman's graceful figure of Liberty reaches out to welcome the dawn of a new day, her right hand stretched out in greeting. The coin's reverse, visible on the back of the acrylic frame, features a bold and protective eagle perched on a mountain ledge. This collection includes three coins, one minted from the 1920's through the 1940's. Each was minted of .900 Fine Silver from the rich Silver mines of the West, and each of the coins was carefully selected to assure its excellent condition.
