The graceful Gold Indian that appeared in 1907 was designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, the premier American sculptor of the late 19th century.  At the suggestion of President Theodore Roosevelt, he used an Indian head for the head of Liberty.  On the reverse is a standing eagle, a majestic lifelike image of the national bird.   Framed in our beautiful custom crafted 14K rope Gold design bezel with a 3mm ruby, it becomes an exquisite piece of fine jewelry.  Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
